2013 Baylor Percussion Symposium

The 2013 Baylor Percussion Symposium will bring some of new music’s most recognized and innovative artists to the Baylor University campus for two days of masterclasses and concerts on March 1-2. Featured artists include Sō Percussion, the Meehan/ Perkins Duo, and the Baylor Percussion Group. The Symposium annually brings together the most original voices in contemporary music, and creates a platform for dialogue between students and professionals. All Symposium events are free and open to the public.

Funding for the Baylor Percussion Symposium comes from the Baylor School of Music’s Lyceum Fund, the Baylor Percussion Excellence Fund, Vic Firth, Pearl/Adams, Zildjian, Black Swamp Percussion, and Remo.
